We know that this year more than ever you've been called upon to support important causes. We ask that you consider giving a small donation to the Stamford High School Marching Band. Our children have worked so hard to represent our school and community in the face of steep budget reductions. Please take a look at what they've accomplished so far:

Knight Music 2008 is now successfully concluded. We have pictures, and the official scores are now posted.
Eight marching bands from New York and Connecticut competed in the 9th annual Knight Music marching band competition. With great weather, 8 great bands performing, and the best music fans in the world we couldn't go wrong. We hope all of our visitors and visiting bands enjoyed the show. We were thrilled and proud to have you.
The Musical Arts Conference will give out FOUR One-Thousand Dollar Scholarships at winter championships. Any member of a MAC unit (seniors only) that attended championships, as a performer, in the fall or winter qualifies.
For details, please see the MAC Website where you can download a form.
Applications must be postmarked no later than March 15th.
Due to budget cuts throughout our school district, the Stamford High Bands have been suffering this year without the funds needed to support their performances. The high quality of musicianship of these groups may be compromised by a lack of funds to provide sheet music, instruments and travel.
In the past, the Stamford bands have received such honors as:
2006 MAC Class III Marching Band, 3rd Place
2007 MAC PSA Winter Percussion, 1st Place
2007 MAC Class III Marching Band, 1st Place
2007 WGI PSA Winter Percussion, National Ranking: 8th place
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for one of our holiday fundraisers. The Christmas Tree Sale and the Borders Gift Wrap days were both great successes thanks to your efforts.
Also, many thanks to everyone in the community who supported us by buying a tree or gift wrapping. Your support makes our programs possible.
The Stamford Holiday Balloon Parade of 2007! The Black Knigts were there to show their stuff and have some fun.
It was a great day. A chance to get together with friends from the Marching Band season one last time to enjoy and celebrate the fine season just concluded.
Photos are available for those who may have missed it. Check back for more soon as Winter programs and events are posted.
Originally known as Armistice day and dedicated to the Veterans of World War I, Veteran's day is now a day set aside as "A celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good."

A beautiful warm evening.
Over 1000 visitors.
6 great bands in performance.
Our graduating seniors and our faithful alumni.
Our volunteers and community supporters.
What a fantastic show!
Knight Music 2007, the 8th annual Knight Music, was all about music, marching, and fun. It was about 6 great bands showing off the weeks and weeks of hard work that have gone into their shows. It was about the community getting to see talented hard working kids doing something great. It was about visitors able to enjoy high quality shows with full marching bands, pit players, and color guards. And it was about a little unexpected excitement.
