Winter Percussion
Stamford Winter Percussion is an intense ensemble comprised of musicians from 9th to 12th grade. The ensemble performs music and drill indoors, with pageantry unique to the art form. The battery marches the drill, and there is a large pit which plays as well. Winter Percussion performs at competitions in the Musical Arts Conference and Winter Guard International. Their season culminates with their participation in the WGI Winter Percussion World Finals in Dayton, OH.
There will be an information meeting for all students interested in joining Winter Percussion in mid-November. Rehearsals run from November through mid-April, with performances in March and April.
