Concert Band

The Stamford Concert Band is comprised of musicians from 9th to 12th grade, and is the largest curricular ensemble at Stamford High School. The ensemble performs music from the Classical and Romantic eras, as well as the turn of the century and modern compositions from the last 30 years. The band also plays music from soundtracks and medleys of the works of famed composers such as Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein. The Concert Band meets during the school day, and performs at school concerts throughout the year.

There will be an informational meeting for all students and parents interested in joining one of the Stamford High instrumental music ensembles: Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Winter Percussion, or Concert Band.
