This weekend, the Stamford High School Drama Club closed its run of the classic 1960's musical, How to Succeed in Business (Without Really Trying!).
The comedic musical is full of vaudeville-inspired music, distinct characters and story twists that have stood the test of time.
The following SHS Bands members performed in the Pit Orchestra: Elize Hwang (flute), Robert Truglia (alto saxophone), Sam Simpson (tenor saxophone), Alex Beltran (drums), Byungkook Lee (cello), Laura Reynolds (percussion) and Patrick O'Shea (percussion). We also thank other student musicians from Stamford High: Hae Jung Kim (violin), Eunice Chun (Violin), Eric Velez (cello), and Ann Marie Roach (keyboard). Finally, many thanks to SHS alumni and greatly talented musicians George Beratis (Saxophone/Flute) and Josh Sette (keyboards) for their contribution to the pit.
We thank and congratulate the cast, crew, pit, faculty and parents involved with this production on another fantastic job. Many thanks to Gloria Sinaguglia as our pit pianist and choral director, to Claudia Nerreau for the costume/set design, Tommy DeSalvo as the club advisor, and Jerold Goldstein, the director of the show.
Bravo!
